Kenyan Ambassador to
Saudi Arabia Mohammed Abdi Mohamud is in stable condition after been involved
in a road accident in Saudi capital of Riyadh on Sunday.
Ambassador Mohammed
was hit by a car at the diplomatic quarters in Riyadh while leaving his office
and sustained injuries on the head and shoulder and was rushed to the King
Khalid university hospital in Riyadh.
According to a local
newspaper, the ambassador was hit by a speeding vehicle driven by a Saudi and
the driver was i immediately arrested by traffic officers who rushed to the
scene.
The ambassador's condition has improved and was visited by Saudi Foreign minister
HE. Adel Al Jubeir who directed the hospital to provide all the necessary facilities
needed to take care of the health of the ambassador.
H.E Ambassador Mohammed
is now in stable condition and expressed his gratitude to the Saudi Foreign ministry
for the medical services and special care he received.
