A 37 years old Saudi
man has been arrested after stabbing a house maid to death.
The incident
happened in Qatif in Eastern region, after the middle aged man attacked
his mother with a blunt object and stabbed her on the neck and then attacked
the maid before trying to commit suicide by stabbing himself on the neck.
Confirming the
incident, Officers at Tarot police station in Qatif said the killed maid who
was of Asian origin died at the hospital while receiving treatment. Police
added that the suspect’s mother is receiving treatment and is in stable condition.
According to Al
Riyadh Newspaper, the man was said to be suffering from mental disorder prior
to the incident. The middle aged man is
still in hospital as police launched an investigation on the incident before
presenting the case to the the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution.
