A KENYAN WOMAN ADMITTED AT KFUH-Khobar, KSA


A Kenyan woman is admitted at King Fahad university hospital Khobar, Saudi Arabia after suffering stomach complications. 

Jane Wairimu, who has been in the Kingdom since May 2014 has been working as a house help in the Eastern region and started complaining of abdominal pain which she took lightly before things started getting worse.

She informed her employers who also at that time had issues regarding the age of Jane since they wanted a house help of younger age. The employer took Jane to hospital after her health started deteriorating and she was admitted at the King Fahad University hospital in Khobar.
According to doctors at the hospital, it was difficult to know what Jane was suffering from and after various medical examinations and diagnoses; doctors found out that Jane had an infection in her intestines which had developed into abdominal abscess (Swellings) wounds, internal bleeding.

2 months ago Jane was booked in the theater and the doctors carried out a surgical operation which was successful. But Jame Wairimu is still admitted at the hospital as doctors said that she will have to undergo a second re-operative surgery to ensure that her intestinal wounds had.

The hospital confirmed that Jane Wairimu who is now in stable condition had been visited by compatriots who had been following up with her situation although no official from the Kenyan Embassy or Kenyan government had contacted her.

Jane will undergo a second surgery on March 23rd and doctors said that they are hopeful that her second surgery which will be done next week will be successful and that Jane will again live a normal life.
