A
Kenyan woman is admitted at King Fahad university hospital Khobar, Saudi Arabia
after suffering stomach complications.
Jane
Wairimu, who has been in the Kingdom since May 2014 has been working as a house
help in the Eastern region and started complaining of abdominal pain which she
took lightly before things started getting worse.
She
informed her employers who also at that time had issues regarding the age of
Jane since they wanted a house help of younger age. The employer took Jane to
hospital after her health started deteriorating and she was admitted at the
King Fahad University hospital in Khobar.
According
to doctors at the hospital, it was difficult to know what Jane was suffering
from and after various medical examinations and diagnoses; doctors found out
that Jane had an infection in her intestines which had developed into abdominal
abscess (Swellings) wounds, internal bleeding.
2
months ago Jane was booked in the theater and the doctors carried out a
surgical operation which was successful. But Jame Wairimu is still admitted at
the hospital as doctors said that she will have to undergo a second
re-operative surgery to ensure that her intestinal wounds had.
The
hospital confirmed that Jane Wairimu who is now in stable condition had been
visited by compatriots who had been following up with her situation although no
official from the Kenyan Embassy or Kenyan government had contacted her.
Jane
will undergo a second surgery on March 23rd and doctors said that they are
hopeful that her second surgery which will be done next week will be successful
and that Jane will again live a normal life.
Include
Jane and her family in your prayers!
