President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa bin
Zayed Al Nayhan has sent a message of condolences to President Uhuru Kenyatta following
the massacre of 147 people at Garissa University in the north-east of Kenya.
According to a stamen by UAE press agency, President Sheikh
Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan sent a cable to President Uhuru Kenyatta expressing
his sincere condolences on the death of the victims in what he described as a
brutal terrorist attack.
The vice president of UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and
Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also sent two similar messages
of condolences to the President Uhuru and to families of the victims of the
attack.
The UAE leaders called upon the international community
to be united in solidarity to counter all forms and manifestations of
terrorism.
