KENYANS HOLD A SUCCESSFUL MEETING IN RIYADH

Kenyan community in Saudi Arabia held a successful meeting in Saudi capital Riyadh on Friday 10^th March 2017.

The meeting, hosted by Kenya Diaspora Community in Saudi Arabia (KDCSA) was attended by Kenyans living and working in different parts of the Kingdom including representatives from the Kenyan embassy in Riyadh led by the deputy Ambassador H.E Mr. Ibrahim Khamis.

KDCSA Chairman Mr. Fuad Mohammed expressed his gratitude to Kenyans for attending what was described as a historic “meeting”.

“Today we have showed our spirit of unity and collaboration is strong and cannot be divided”, said Mr. Fuad.

Mr. Fuad called upon Kenyans in Saudi Arabia to avoid differences and instead work towards a common goal of achieving social economic development that does not exclude anyone.

“KDCSA if for Kenyans it brings us together as a family that shares true Kenyan values”, he added.

Kenya’s Deputy Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, H.E Ibrahim Khamis who graced the occasion congratulated Kenyans for their aspiration and hard-work and fostering not only socio-economic development but also enhancing an amazing image of Kenya.

Mr. Ibrahim added that the Embassy in Riyadh is open to help and offer maximum facilitation to Kenyans from all walks of life.

“The Embassy is accessible by everyone and the staffs are there to address your welfare and solve any problems you face expeditiously”, he said.

Various Speakers during the meeting reiterated on the importance of cooperation among various groups urging competition among each other will only create further division.

During the event, KDCSA launched its official website which will facilitate the integration of Kenyans in the kingdom as well as provide an online platform for Kenyans to get vital information and assistance on various issues.
